Research Goal
Understand how IT administrators use the Admin Console landing page and identify opportunities to improve clarity, navigation, and task completion
Methodology
Conducted remote, semi-structured interviews with IT administrators and proxy participants.
Participants
Three IT administrators from Queensland National Health Service, and Radboudumc Medical Center, along with three Imprivata proxy participants
Interview Focus
The interviews explored participants’ roles, workflows, dashboard usage, frequent tasks, preferred shortcuts, pain points, and expectations for a more informative and actionable landing page.
Outcome
The research helped identify IT administrators’ most common tasks, dashboard usage patterns, and areas of confusion or friction within the EAM Admin Console. These findings informed the redesign of the landing page into a clearer, more actionable dashboard with relevant shortcuts, visual information, and better guidance on what to do next.
